ALGAROTTI – Maria "Nonni" rose up to her heavenly home on the afternoon of Thursday, October 22, 2015. She was born on August 22, 1923 in Bergamo, Italy. The wife of a WWII veteran and talented seamstress, Maria settled in and raised a strong family in North Bergen, NJ. Her warmth, humor and grace were unmatched as were her home-grown herbs and jam. Her smile will forever be engrained in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlo Algarotti, son-in-law Carmen Francavilla, parents and siblings. Maria is survived by her 4 daughters, Linda Francavilla, Luisa Evangelista and husband Anthony, Marisa Dellarobba and husband James, and Giovanna Algarotti. Nonni will be sorely missed by her 2 grandchildren, Michael Francavilla and wife Cassandra, and Daniel Francavilla; and one great-grandchild, Carlo Francavilla. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Monday, October 25, 2015 at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Sacred Heart R.C.
