MICHAELS - Antigone (nee Papadopoulos), 96, of Cliffside Park, NJ, formerly of New York, NY on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Gerasimos Spathis, and the late Louis Michaels. Loving mother of Mary (nee Spathis ) Allen, and Andrew Spathis, his wife Stephanie Ann. Cherished grandmother of John Peter Allen. Antigone was a Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a Honored Member of the Philoptochos Society of the Greek Orthodox Church Of The Ascension, in Fariview, NJ, a gifted singer, dancer, excellent cook, and bingo aficionado. She was the last survivor of 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral from McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Greek Orthodox Church Of The Ascension, 101 Anderson Avenue, Fairview, NJ, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
