Margaret Ita McAleer, 93, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on February 25, 2016 in County Manor Home in Tenafly, NJ. Margaret was born in Ballylaw, Co Tyrone, Ireland to John and Agnes McAleer on July 23, 1922. She emigrated to the US and worked as a waitress and home health aide. She was active in the Cliffside Park community. She is preceded in death by her siblings Packy, Kathleen, John, Leo, Maria and Peter. She is survived by her adoring nieces and nephews in the UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, Canada and the US. Mass will be held at Church of the Epiphany, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Monday, February 29 at 10AM. Burial will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Sunday February 28th from 2-4 & 6-8PM. For information and directions: mccorrybrothers.com.
