Joseph Ira Thompson, 76, of Cliffside Park, NJ, on Monday, May 8, 2017. Joseph was born in New York City, NY, to the late Michael and Violet Thompson (nee Shook). Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Thompson (2009). Loving father of Corrine her husband Brian, Kevin his wife Rose, Hope, her husband Greg, Monica, and her husband Mark. Cherished grandfather of Jenna, Lindsay, Alexa, Aidan, and Mark. Dear brother of Michael, Clem, Thomas, and John Thompson, and five loving sisters-in-law. Also, survived by many loving nieces, and nephews. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, and friend. Joseph was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He was employed by Henry I. Siegel in New York City, NY, where he worked as a Credit and Collections Manager.
