Obituary of Margaret J. Castaldo

Margaret J. Castaldo (nee Breitenbach) of  Longs SC, formerly of Fairview passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018.  Margaret was predeceased by her parents Frank and Marion Breitenbach.

Margaret was a devoted wife to Robert, loving Nonna of Samantha, Tyler, Mackenzie and Carleigh. and most importantly an incredible mother. She had great pride at being a mother of her two children, Robert and Brian. She spent the majority of her time being a mother and staying home and raising her children when they were younger. She enjoyed taking them on vacations and building a lifetime of memories. She had great pride in that as well as capturing those moments through photos. As her children got older she went back to work as an administrative assistant for Bergen County.

Margaret built many lifelong relationships and cherished her friendships. She valued friends and family, as in her eyes they always came first. Not only was she a strong willed and strong hearted woman, but she was also a survivor. She survived breast cancer, a heart attack and whatever else was thrown at her and she did it with grace. She took life on whole heartedly and was grateful for all she had.

Funeral Mass to be celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church 395 DeLano Place, Fairview, NJ at 9:30 am. Visiting hours on Sunday March 4, 2018, from 2-4 and 7-9.
