To the family of Sophie: It is very sad to learn of Sophie's passing. I was a fellow classmate of hers at Cliffside Park High School. Our Cousin Sophie's sudden death has sent extreme sadness to the depths of our hearts. She was our last living relative on our mom's side of the family. We will miss her quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. Living so far apart, the West Coast / East Coast separation did not stop us from the occasional phone call to catch up, visiting our parents when she was in town traveling, keeping us updated with her comings and goings in Christmas cards, always letting us know how Aunt Fanny was doing and usually complaining about the cold winters. When the pandemic hit, Sophie was the first to reach out via emails and phone calls to check up on her West Coast cousins. We were in constant contact after that. Until we weren't. Fanny we send you thoughts on peace and strength to ease your sorrow. Praying that God fills you with a peace beyond understanding in the days and year to come.
