




Obituary of Dorothea Jane Curasco
Dorothea Jane Curasco, of Ridgefield, NJ, passed away on January 28, 2025. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Enrico (Rickie) Curasco. Loving mother of Richard Curasco. Also loving grandmother of Matthew (Lisa) and Lindsay (Tim) and great grandmother to Arianna. Predeceased by her brother Royce Bullard and her niece Patricia Pelligrino. She is survived by nephews Patrick Sweeney (Nancy), Michael Healy (MaryAnne), Mark Curasco, Robert Curasco, Perry Curasco (JoAnn) and Robert Pelligrino.
Dorothea was born in Daytona Beach, Florida to Edison and Marion (née Livingston) Bullard. The family eventually moved North and settled in Guttenberg, NJ. She attended Guttenberg Elementary School and Memorial High School in West New York, where she met her future husband, and they married in 1950. She was a homemaker and worked for D'Amore Jewelers in Cliffside Park for many years.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ. Family and friends are to gather Saturday, February 1, 2025, for Mass at 10:00 AM at St Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 555 Prospect Ave, Ridgefield, NJ 07657 with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Dorotheas name would be greatly appreciated. Link to the left.
