I am deeply saddened, as we all are, to hear of the passing of beloved Jeannie Langer. She was an angel to us all, but most of all to her two boys, Connor and Christopher. She was their mama bear! She was a gentle soul with a loving and giving heart. She is and will be missed deeply. Leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and making the world a better place for all of us . With love and gratitude., Paul

When I think of our friend, Jeanne, and our sadness at her passing, I think of the poem in Proverbs 31--the eshet chayil--the woman of valor. It is a title bestowed upon a woman who faces the world with wisdom and kindness, and great strength. One who gave everything she had to her sons, Connor and Christopher, as well as to every community she became a part of. Her efforts as president of the Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation helped the organization expand as she reached out to people all over the globe.
I feel that gravity is exerting a bit more pressure without Jeanne in our midst. May her memory be a blessing.

Jeanne and I spoke back in December when I started my own medical journey.
We each promised to go through the process and reconnect in the few months following - when we were both done with our programs.
I had just finished and remembered to reach out when I saw your post. I I am filled with grief and, at the same time, gratitude.
I am blessed to have called her my friend.
We always made each other smile. We always hugged each other tightly. We always told each other how glad we were to share our friendship.
She was a beautiful, generous, kind and loving soul. Chris and Conor - you were her world.
I will miss her terribly.
I hope to see you in September.

Connor and Christopher, your mother was an extraordinary woman. Not only was she a fierce advocate for you during the years you attended The Hudson School where we first met but also an enormous support to other families in her role as a member of the Hudson School PTA and later as a trustee of the school . No
matter when we asked for her help , she made time to exchange ideas, came up with creative solutions, volunteered countless hours to lead school fundraisers in support of our financial aid fund and contributed generously to all of our initiatives so we could maintain a need-blind admissions. She was very proud of you. May her strength and generosity remain guide posts for your lives as you find your own paths and causes. I will always be here for you . With love, Suellen Newman

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jeanne's passing. Though our paths didn't cross often during our adult years, we shared a lifetime as cousins. I always appreciated her warmth and kindness. I remember the fun we had together as children when our families would get together. In recent years, I was grateful to reconnect with her through our shared love and concern for Aunt Pat. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. Please know that you're in my thoughts.

Jeanne was an amazing mother. She adored her children and would do anything for them. She had a zest for life and sadly left the world way too soon.
May her memory be a blessing.
