




Obituary of Rosette Murruni
Rosette Murruni, 90, of Cliffside Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her home on June 12, 2025. She was born 1934 in Draguignan, France, the daughter of the late Francesco and the late Dorothe (née Vigliarolo) Romeo. Rosette was predeceased by her husband Carmelo in 2013. Loving mother to Nick Murruni, Danielle Porrino (Vincent) and Frank Murruni (Lenore). Adoring grandmother to Nicole Murruni (Leudis), Jessica Medina (Frankie) Alexa, Brittany, Sabrina, Milan, Siena, Delia and Francesco. Rosette had the pleasure of being a great grandmother to Tyler (2024), Maddix, Gianna, Mya and baby Roman. Rosette will now join her beloved grandson Tyler, who sadly passed before her.
She is survived by her brothers Bruno and John Romeo and was predeceased by Joseph, Domenick and Catherine. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Barbara, Martine and Edda Romeo and Cosimo and Giuseppe Murruni. She was predeceased by Giovanni, Filippo, Salvatore, Franco and Lisa Murruni.
Loving Tati to Ghyslaine Romeo, Gerard, Muriel and Jacques Giordanengo, Frank, Dorothy, Robert, Domenick and Michele Romeo, Lisa, Joey, Sandra and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Caring cousin of Compare Nicodemo and Comare Pina Romeo of Canada.
Rosette was a wonderful cook, baker and all-around fabulous homemaker. She could speak and write in 3 languages. She was loved by everyone that knew her, and she will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park. Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, 395 DeLano Place, Fairview. Entombment will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 11:15 AM at Madonna Mausoleum 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee.
