John Casper posted a condolence

My name is John D. Casper Jr., my father, John D. Casper Sr. and James were first cousins. In 1979, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, my father died at age 43. In 2023, my mother passed away.
Recently, I was going through my mother's paperwork. I kept finding documents from when my father had died with James's handwriting on them. It is very apparent, James guided my mother through some difficult times. James was our families' advocate.
I know my mother was overwhelmed after my father's death. James stepped up and helped our family BIG TIME.
RIP Cousin James

For BEL…My friend for almost 70 years
I lost my oldest friend today,
Just weeks ago we reminisced,
about stories that just won’t go away.
Our laughs about those days just persist.
The foolish days of crazy teens,
who were too young to know,
the difference between the tragic scenes
and playful times so long ago.
I am left to know those times,
Forever in my soul.
The alleyway, the dead end lines,
the girls, the loves, so old.
I celebrate our friendship true,
those years from now till then.
A brother, comrade, a friend to you,
That will never end…………………..Tom Corday

Three things I can say about Jimmy,
He was a great help to me with accounting questions, a great storyteller (of his life experiences) and he had plenty of jokes.
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
Ecclesiastes 3:4
Jimmy you will be missed.
