Obituary of Angela Amen

Angela Amen, 96, of Cliffside Park, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. She was born in Auletta, Italy to the late Domenico Amodeo and the late Rosa (née Gambino) Amodeo. Loving mother to Marie Amen, Gabriele Amen (daghter-in-law Stacey) and predeceased by her son Carlo Amen in 2000. Angela was also predeceased by her husband, Gerardo Amen in 2004. She is survived by her siblings Elena Amodeo and Umberto Amodeo and predeceased by Michael Amodeo, and Antoinette Catanese. She leaves behind a loving family here in the US and Italy.

Angela resided in Cliffside Park for 61 years and was a longtime parishioner of St. John the Baptist in Fairview. She loved to cook for everyone, but she was especially famous for her meatballs. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ with a prayer service at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.

Angela's Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Avenue, Fairview, NJ 07022.
