Obituary of Hildegard Andretta
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Hildegard “Hilda” Andretta, whose love and kindness touched every life she encountered.
Hilda was the heart and soul of her family, a source of unwavering support, and a constant reminder of what it means to love unconditionally. She built her life around the simple yet profound joys of family, tradition, and togetherness. Whether hosting holiday gatherings, sharing stories from her life, or offering her gentle words of encouragement, Hilda’s presence filled every room with warmth.
She was a devoted mother to her children: Richard Andretta and his girlfriend Nona, Anthony Andretta and his wife Terri, and Karen Mirkovic and her husband Dino. Her children knew her not only as a mother but also as a trusted confidante, role model, and friend.
Hilda’s pride and joy were her grandchildren — Melissa Panarotto, Alison Eason, Jaclyn Fuller, Peter Foglio, and Kevin Andretta — each of whom held a special place in her heart. She delighted in watching them grow and flourish, always celebrating their accomplishments and supporting them in their challenges. To her eight great-grandchildren, Hilda was a source of love and joy, the sweet matriarch who adored every hug, smile, and laugh they shared with her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family traditions that will continue to live on through the generations. Hilda taught us the importance of kindness, of cherishing time with one another, and of holding family close no matter the distance.
While our hearts are heavy with her loss, we find comfort in the countless memories she gave us and in knowing that she is reunited with those who went before her. Her love will continue to guide us, her wisdom will continue to inspire us, and her spirit will forever remain with us.
