Obituary of Richard A. Allen

 Richard A. Allen, 82, of Cliffside Park, passed away on October 19, 2025. Beloved husband of Inez (née Roth). Loving father of Danielle Batayiannis (Artie), Gina Allen (fiancé Daniel Stapert), Lori Remington (Alex) and Jillian Allen. 

 Adoring grandfather to Emma, Amanda, Mia, William and Henry.

 Richard was predeceased by his mother Antoinette (née Futia) and Walter B. Allen; stepfather Richard Samperi, his sister, Mary DelMonte and her husband Harold. 

 Richard worked for many years for the Borough of Cliffside Park in building maintenance. Richard was also a proud US Marine. He was a girls basketball coach for Cliffside Park recreation for many years, and coached Cliffside Park girls Little League.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  
 
 Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park. Family and friends are to gather on Friday, Oct 24 at 12:00 PM at Church of the Epiphany 247 Knox Avenue, Cliffside Park for a funeral Mass.
