Obituary of Antonio Staccuneddu

Antonio Staccuneddu, 87, of Fort Lee, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2026.  Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Antoinetta (née Magnone). He is also survived by his adoring daughter-in law, Karen Staccuneddu and his granddaughter Nicole. He was predeceased by his son Giovanni in September of 2025. Loving uncle to Salvatore Staccuneddu.

Antonio loved to fish, go to the beach and especially loved Montauk and fishing with his son, Giovanni. As a career, Antonio was a barber his whole life and enjoyed every minute of it.  Antonio also loved animals, especially his dog Roberto. 

Antonio was so loved and cared for, and his family and friends will miss him deeply. 

Visitation will be on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park NJ. Funeral from McCorry Brothers Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 9:15 AM with a Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St Nicholas R.C. Church, 442 Brinkerhoff Avenue, Palisades Park, NJ with entombment to follow at 11:30 AM at Madonna Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ.
