Obituary of George A Landeck

 George Landeck 83, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on April 29, 2026 surrounded by his loving family: wife Jacqueline of 63 years and his four children Doreen, Robin, Michael and Melissa.  He is also survived by his beloved grandson Brandon, his son-in-law Robert, daughter-in-law Michele and his sister Patricia.

 George was born on February 4th, 1943 in Bronx, NY and grew up in Cliffside Park where he met the love of his life Jacqueline.  He was a 1960 graduate from Cliffside Park High School where he was a proud member of the Red Raider Football team.  George and Jacqueline were married in 1962 and raised their four children in Cliffside Park.  He worked as a Cliffside Park Police Special at Palisades Amusement Park prior to becoming a Bergen County Sheriff's Officer in 1967.  He completed his career in security at the Hudson City Savings Bank headquarters in Paramus, New Jersey until his retirement. George was a lifetime parishoner at Epiphany Church, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and was an usher.  George's interests included cars, baseball gloves and New York Yankees baseball.  His greatest passion was his family that he adored.

 Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 3-6 PM.  Please gather on Monday May 4 at Epiphany R.C. Church, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, for celebration of Funeral Mass at 12 PM.  Entombment to follow in Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ.
