Please share a memory of Margherita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Margherita Gugliotta (née Di Loro), lovingly known to many as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Margherita was born on September 4, 1937, in Rosolini, Province of Siracusa, Sicily, Italy. On January 5, 1963, she married the love of her life, Michele Gugliotta, beginning a beautiful marriage built on faith, love, and dedication to family.

In 1966, Margherita immigrated to the United States in search of a better future for her family. Together, she and Michele built a life centered on hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to their children, Giovanna and Corrado, whom she loved deeply and cared for with all her heart.

Margherita worked for many years as a talented seamstress, known for her skill, patience, and strong work ethic. Beyond her work, her greatest joy was caring for her family. She expressed her love through her cooking, always welcoming family and friends with warmth, comfort, and delicious meals prepared with love. Margherita was a beloved wife of 63 years to her husband, Michele Gugliotta. A devoted mother to Giovanna Gugliotta-Favano and her husband Dino and Corrado Gugliotta and his wife Kristen. A cherished Nonna to her adoring grandchildren, Tatiana and her husband Angel, Michael and Sofia and to her great grandchildren, Gemma and Gioia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corrado Di Loro and Maria Scala and her brother Luigi Di Loro. She is survived by her sister Concetta Di Loro and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Margherita was a devoted Catholic parishioner of Saint Nicholas Church in Palisades Park, where she found strength, community, and spiritual comfort throughout the years.

Margherita will be remembered for her gentle heart, strong faith, loving spirit, and endless devotion to her family. Her legacy of love, sacrifice, and kindness will live on in all who knew and loved her.

May she rest in eternal peace.
