MARY A. NOVAK

 AGE: 102

 DIED: July 14, 2026

Born in West New York, N.J., daughter of the late Olga and James Novakovich. She was a graduate of Cliffside Park High School, attended Washington School of Secretaries, employed for many years in New York City in the paper industry. After retiring, she did volunteer work at Holy Name Hosp., worked part time for an ad agency in Gutenberg, and a private golf group. In her earlier years, she was an avid bowler and tennis player. She was also a member of numerous nature, animal and wildlife organizations. She was preceded by her brother Marin (1988) and her sister Olga Boeck Kalt (2008). She is survived by two nephews - Douglas R. Novak, MBA, Old Bridge, N.J.; Wayne J. Boeck, Ph.D, Superior, WI, one niece, Karen Boeck Boss of Oregon City, OR; a cousin Charles "Bub" L. de la Motte of Doylestown PA. There are also grand and great nieces and nephews that also survive.

 Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Madona Cemetery, 2070 Hoefleys Lane Fort Lee, NJ at 11:30 AM.  As per Mary's wishes there will be no viewing.
