Obituary of Ruth J Cubero

Ruth J. Cubero, 8/20/28-7/21/26. Ruth was born in New York, New York as was predeceased by her parents Clotilde Gonzalez Giraud and Abraham Herbert Cubero.

She was retired. Before retiring she was a Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director for U.S. Commission on Civil Rights New York N.Y.

Ruth was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and entertaining. She was involved in Public Relations Committee at Hostos Community College and was also involved with the league of Women Voters.

Ruth is remembered by many extended family and friends who will deeply miss her.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 27th, 2026, at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave., Fort Lee N.J. 07024 from 10am - 12pm. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595 at 1:15pm.
