MARANA - Catherine (nee Colombo), 79, of Leonia, NJ, formerly of Union City, NJ, and Fairview, NJ, on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Catherine was a graduate of the Englewood Hospital School of Nursing. She was active in PTA at Lincoln Elementary School, and Junior School in Fairview, NJ. Beloved mother of Anita Pacheco, her husband Heraclio of Madison, NJ, and Andrea Marana, her partner Helen De Thomas of Leonia, NJ. Dear sister of Christopher Colombo of Toms River, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Alissa and Michael Pacheco. Loving aunt to Diana Kuncken, Arthur Sabatini, Roseann LaBruno, Judi Colombo, and James Colombo. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 9:15AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Madonna Church (in the Cemetery), Fort Lee, NJ, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ. Visiting hours on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Catherine's memory may be made to: NPR.ORG. Please donate either to 93.9FM or 820AM.
