Obituary of Frank N. Polise

     Frank N Polise, born November 12, 1927 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey; died peacefully surrounded by his six children on September 28, 2023.  He was 95 years old.  He is predeceased by his wife Mary Alice (Connolly) Polise.  He is survived by his children: Mary Ellen (Polise) Palazzola and her husband Joe, Michael Polise and his wife Debbie, Frank Polise and his wife Patty, Patricia (Polise) Youmans, William Polise and his wife Pam and Elizabeth (Polise) Gordy and her husband Tom.   Mr. Polise has 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with another 2 on the way…Also surviving is his loving sister Anne Artuso.

     Frank graduated from Cliffside Park High School.  He served in the US Merchant Marines during World War II and was a US Marine (in-country) during the Korean War.  Frank was employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone Company for 36 years.  Frank enjoyed bowling, he planted tomatoes for over 50 years and golfed with his buddies who nicknamed him “Fairway Frank.”

    ** Visitation will be held at McCorry Funeral home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010 on Wednesday, October 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.**

     Family and friends are asked to gather at St.Therese of Lisieux church, 120 Monroe Avenue, Cresskill, NJ 07626 for celebration of Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 5th at 11:00 am.
