Charles Francis Romano (also known as Chaz.) , 66 years old of Cliffside park, NJ died November 18, 2023. He was born in Englewood, NJ in 1956 to Albert “ Sonny” and Marion Romano. Charles Romano graduated Cliffside Park highschool in 1974. Charles worked for the Cliffside Park Borough Hall.

Charlie enjoyed going to the Englewood Boat Basin to Walk and Bird watch as well as look at the scenery. Charlie also would frequently go to Fort Lee historic park with his family. Charlie loved Native American culture, music, crafting and art.

Charles was survived by Charles Ratigan, wife Kelly Ratigan, son John Romano, wife Chelsea Romano, Beloved Pop Pop to grandson John Joseph Romano Jr. (JJ), Marian Algarotti, husband Luigi Algarotti, Anthony Romano, wife Maria Romano, Catherine Luis (John)- Pre deceased, and Andrea Romano. Uncle to Danielle, Andrea, Irma, Alissa, Justine, James, Alexis and Hayli. Cousin of the Funderburk’s, the DalCanton’s and Aiello’s.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4-8PM at McCorry Brothers Fuberal Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park NJ 07010.

  **Our parking garage is temporarily closed, but feel free to park on the street, First Baptist Church across the street from the funeral home in their lot, behind Food Bazar on Anderson Ave., or In Valley Bank (not along the back wall, that is reserved for the Greenhouse Condo patrons).
