BONONNO - Carmine, "Kempy", 86, of River Edge, NJ, formerly of Fairview, NJ, on Monday, July 18, 2011. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Flynn) Bononno. Loving father of Donna Telesca, her husband Salvatore, Ronald Bononno, his wife Donna, Thomas Bononno, his wife Corby, and Jim Bononno, his wife Christine. Cherished grandfather of Ron, Jennifer, Jamie Lynn, Joseph, Reagan, Luke, and Katie Bononno. Carmine was the former Chief of the Fairview Fire Department where he also volunteered for 45 years. He was a member of the NJ Fire Chief's Association, and a member of the Bergen County Mutual Aid Association, and achieved Exempt Status with the Fire Department. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Friday, at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ, at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. Visiting hours on Thursday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. For information and directions, please visit www.mccorrybrothers.com.
