LIOY - Mildred, 90, (nee Lombardi), of Fort Lee, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony D. Lioy, M.D. and loving mother of the late Teresa E. Faulkner. Millie loved life and had many interests including theater, fashion and world travel. Born in her parent's home on the corner of Houston and Sullivan, she loved the energy of New York City and enjoyed her years working in advertising on Madison Avenue. But her greatest joy was found in those she loved. She was a beautiful, caring woman with a heart-warming smile and great sense of humor. Cherished mother- in-law of Clark W. Faulkner, Jr.; devoted grandmother of Elizabeth Salem, her husband Matt, Anthony Faulkner, and his wife Melissa; and proud great-grandmother of Brady, Andrew, Blakely, Hadley and William. Also survived by loving nieces and nephew, her Godson and dear family friends. She will be deeply missed by many who dearly loved her. Funeral from McCorry Brothers 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Tuesday February 21, 2012 at 9:15AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Epiphany Church, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, at 10AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Visiting hours on Monday, from 6:00 to 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to: The National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance.
