NUNZIATA - Antonio B., 94, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Fort Lee, New Jersey, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 7, 2012. He was born March 4, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Michael and Barbara (Salamone) Nunziata. Tony served as a medic in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for the New York Transit Authority for over 30 years and was a member of St. Nicholas Parish in Palisades Park, NJ. Tony lived in Fort Lee, NJ for over 30 years before moving to Worthington Christian Village in Columbus, Ohio in 1997 with his wife. He loved to garden, enjoyed fixing things, dancing, and was very close with his family. Preceded in death by his wife, of 51 years, Martha (Stellato) Nunziata and son-in-law, Robert Waters. Antonio will be missed by his daughter, Barbara (Edward) Waters-Staff, Pine Bush, NY; son, Frank (Anna) Nunziata, Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Carl (Mariann) Waters, Frank Nunziata, II, and Michael Nunziata; great-grandchildren, Julia and Sage; Family will receive friends Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at MCCORRY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 780 Cliffside Park, NJ 07010. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Madonna Church, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ. Entombment at Madonna Cemetery.
