McCANN - Doris Hayes, 98, of James Island, South Carolina, widow of Francis Xavier McCann entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 10, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in The Church of the Epiphany at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Cliffside Park, NJ. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. The family will receive friends Tuesday between 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Doris was born March 18, 1914 in West New York, New Jersey, daughter of John J. Hayes and Julia Henry Hayes. She was a member of The Church of the Epiphany. She is survived by her three daughters: Patricia Powell (Tom) of Springlake, NJ, Kathleen M. Lawrence (Bob) of James Island, SC, Nancy Longo (Andy) of San Antonio, TX; two sons: Terance McCann (Kathy) of Glen Rock, NJ, Timothy McCann (Maureen) of Freehold, NJ; daughter-in-law, Maureen McCann of Totowa, NJ; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Richard McCann.
