ALGAROTTI - Carlo, 89, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2013, at Palisade Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bergamo, Italy, he served in World War II. Journeyed to America with his young family in 1954 and worked for the Labor Union of Fort Lee, NJ, as a construction worker. He will be remembered for his unwavering strength, compassion for stray animals and orphaned birds and for his dynamic vegetable garden. Devoted husband to wife, Maria (nee Cortinovis); father to four daughters; Linda Francavilla, Luisa Evangelista, Marissa Dellarobba and Giovanna Algarotti. Dear father-in-law of three son-in-laws, Carmen Francavilla (deceased), Anthony G. Evangelista and James Dellarobba; Cherished grandfather to two grandsons, Michael and his wife Kassandra, and Daniel Francavilla and great-grandson, Carlo Francavilla. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Tuesday, July 2, at 8:45AM . Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, North Bergen, at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ. Visiting hours on Monday, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
