Obituary of Cosmo Paris

PARIS, Cosmo, 59, of Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014. Beloved husband of Susan Paris (nee Matura). Loving father of Melissa S. Paris-Melian, Lindsey Mae Paris, Carly Nina Paris and son-in-law, Oscar Melian. Cherished grandfather of Giuliana Izabella Paris. Dear brother of Mary Paris, Anna McCann, Carla Paris Cardini, Philip Paris, Stella Paris and sister-in-law, Linda Santangelo. Cosmo was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, who selflessly helped others. Cosmo was an active member of the Independent Hook & Ladder Company #1 of the Cliffside Park Fire Department, an Exempt Fireman and member of the Cliffside Park Exempt Firemen's Association & The New Jersey State Exempt Firemen's Association, and a life member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Association and a Trustee of the Cliffside Park Firemen's Relief Association, who lived to serve his community. Cosmo will be greatly missed and his legacy of helping others will live on in his memory through his family. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2014, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010. Cremation will be private.
