Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Stasi

STASI - Mary Elizabeth (nee Housley) was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on March 6th, 1932. She passed away on April 26th 2014 at 7:14 pm in her home in Waco, Texas. Mary was 82 years old. At her side at the time of death was William Stasi her husband of 64 years and three granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Carey Stasi. She is survived by her husband William Stasi, her daughter Patricia Salmeri and son-in-law Tony, seven grandchildren and seven great grand-daughters. She is also survived by her brother James and sisters Janet Cappozi, Barbara Driess and Edith Skudera. She served as president of Fairview VFW post as woman's auxiliary president and she was a member of the Friends of the Library in Cliffside Park. Visitation will be at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Viewing will begin at 2-4 pm and then again at 7-9 pm Friday May 2nd. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery May 3rd starting with a funeral service at 10am at the funeral home.
