EICHLER, Sr. - Joseph J., 92, lifelong resident of Fairview, NJ, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Past peacefully with his family by his side. Joseph was a proud US Army Veteran serving during WWII in Japan. Beloved husband of the late Pearl (nee Frantz) Eichler (1993). Loving father of Joseph J. Jr., his wife Deborah, and Walter H., his wife Teresa. Cherished grandfather of Joseph J. Eichler III, his wife Tracy, Cory Eichler, Jennifer Eichler, and Shana Eichler Tisi, her husband Daniel. Caring great-grandfather of Joseph J. Eichler IV, McKayla Tisi, and Mackenzie Tisi. Joseph was employed by the Borough of Fairview Department of Public Works for 24 years, and he was a member of the American Legion on Shaler Boulevard in Ridgefield, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11 AM. Entombment follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
