DREYER - Anne Marie, passed away peacefully on Friday June 13, 2014. Anne, born in 1914, was a lifelong resident of Hoboken, NJ, where she and her husband raised their loving family. She was the last surviving member of the Trapp family. She graduated from St. Michaels High School, Union City, NJ, where she was also a member of the Michaelean Guild. For many years Anne was a member of the Rosary Society at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Hoboken NJ, Eucharistic Minister at Epiphany Church, Cliffside Park, NJ, and active in the Senior citizens Committee. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially holidays; reading the newspapers every day, playing Bingo, doing Crossword Puzzles and watching Basketball on T.V. In her later years she kept busy with various charitable activities. Special thanks to Mr. Davis and the staff at The Harborage, North Bergen, NJ, for the loving care they gave her the past 10 years. Beloved wife of the late John "Herbert" Dreyer (1995). Anne is survived by her loving sons: Herbert, his wife Mary, of Stratford, CT, Paul, his wife Marilyn, of Falmouth, MA, Richard, his wife Kathleen, of Cary, NC, Thomas, his wife AnnMarie, of Califon, NJ, and Gerard, his wife Deborah, of Leonia, NJ. Devoted grandmother of Christopher, Daniel, Adam, Gretchen, Rick, Gregory, Brian, Jeffrey, Alissa, Joseph, Derek and Jordan. Cherished great-grandmother of 12. Funeral from McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday, June 18, at 9AM. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 404 Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ, at 10AM. Visiting hours on Tuesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. For information and directions, please visit www.mccorrybrothers.com.
