Obituary of Hilda Anna Wesch

Hilda Anna "Siegele” Wesch, of Cliffside Park, passed away at home October 4. Born in Bruchsal, Germany on February 12, 1920. She married Karl Wesch in March 1941, since predeceased (1994), and in April of 1952 they immigrated to the US on the S.S. Constitution and resided in Cliffside Park.  Loving mother of Nadine and her husband Dean Osmond of Ship Bottom, NJ and Anita and her husband Theodoros Perides of Cliffside Park.  Cherished Oma to 4 grandchildren, Tommy and his wife, Athena; Jimmy and his wife Paula; Oz (Stefanie) and her husband Benn; and Kari and her wife Julia. Oma adored her 8 great-grandchildren, Teddy, Vasili, Theo, Alexandro, Leo, Thano, Willow and Hazel.  She was a homemaker who always had love for gardens, flowers, cooking and baking.  Always feeding many, including the birds. She was Oma to many more than family, always helping others. Hilda was a devout member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cliffside Park and a resident of Cliffside Park for 69 years.  Services will be private for family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Evangelical Church, Columbia Ave., Cliffside Park NJ or Ascend Hospice, Rahway, NJ.
