     Nelson Rivera, 65, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022. He was born on Wednesday May 16, 1956, in Brooklyn, the son of the late George and the late Carmen (née Rosado) Rivera.  Loving husband of Bill Murray.  Dear brother of Carmen Rivera.  Cherished uncle of Milagros Cox (David A Cox.), Jonathan Rivera, Lindsey Murray, Colin Murray, Christopher Murray and Patrick Murray.  Devoted great uncle of Amari X. Cox and Jordai S. Cox. Caring brother-in-law of Ron Murray (Sally). He will also be missed by his devoted puppy Lucy Lou.  

     Nelson was a former Director at Friends for Life, an HIV/AIDS support organization providing food and care for individuals who lacked resources.  He especially enjoyed attending Broadway Musicals.  

     Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, Apr 3, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. with a prayer service at 7:00PM.
