Obituary of James Joseph Dilworth

      James Joseph Dilworth, 87, of Palisades Park, passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2022. Beloved husband of Arleen (née Fasciano).  Loving father of Patricia Dunphy, her husband Thomas and James A. Dilworth, his wife Peggi Quinn. Devoted grandfather to Brendan and Veronica Dunphy.  James is also survived by his brother-in-law John Fasciano and the late Theresa. James was predeceased by his sister Vivian Weber. Caring brother-in-law of Vincent Weber. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

      James proudly served in the Army National Guard for 9 years.  He retired as Captain of the West New York Fire Department and a member of the New Jersey State Exempt Firemen's Association.

      Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Funeral from McCorry Brothers at 8:45 am, thence to Madonna Chapel (2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, in the cemetery) for 9:30 am mass with entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee.
