Obituary of Charles J Girofalo

     Charles Joseph Girofalo, 76, of North Bergen, NJ passed away on August 30, 2022, peacefully at home. A mass will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Our Lady of Grace Church at 9:30 a.m. Fairview, NJ, 07022.

     Charles was born in Hoboken, NJ to Joseph Girofalo and Genevieve Riegar on November 17,1945. He worked as an IT Technician for St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, NJ for over 35 years. He loved music, had an adoration for his many beloved pets, and had so much pride and love for his family and friends.

     Charles is survived by his nieces Stacey Vicchio, husband George, Kristy Kurkjian, husband Brian, nephews Thomas Rizzo, Jr., and Joseph Girofalo, and two great nieces Tenley and Taylor Kurkjian. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Girofalo, stepmother Catherine Girofalo, sister Veronica Rizzo (Girofalo), and brother James Girofalo.
