I didn't realize or remember this until after I posted this picture, but the blouse my mom is wearing in this picture -- my mom is sitting on the sofa -- is the exact same blouse that I had her dressed in for my dad's wake and that I had her dressed in for her wake. At the time of the wakes, I had forgotten about this picture. Nobody else may understand or agree, but to me, this is a blessing from God.

It turns out that my mom also wore that blouse at my brother's wake. So she wore that blouse in that photo from 1999, at my brother's and father's wakes in 2022, and her wake in 2023.
