Obituary of George Richard Meyer

      It is with heavy hearts that we have to say good bye to our brother-in-law George Meyer and his wife, our sister, Barbara Meyer (nee Caufield).  George left us peacefully on March 22nd and our Barbara joined him the following day. 

     George was raised in Guttenberg NJ and was a Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  Barbara was raised in Fairview NJ and worked for Marburn Warehouse for 25 years. George and Barbara resided in Cliffside Park for the last 35 years.  George and Barbara were married for 43 years and leave behind Barbara’s siblings Frances, Patrick, Maryann and John as well as 10 nieces and nephews.

     Memorial visitation being held at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park on Wednesday March 29th from 4 to 8 PM. Please gather at 10AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Ave., Fairview, NJ on Thursday, March 30th.  Burial to Follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 179 Hackensack Ave., Hackensack NJ.
