Obituary of Ann J Magnone

     Ann Judith Magnone, 80 years of age, of Fort Lee New Jersey, passed away on October 11, 2023, following a short illness.  Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph; her children Lisa (Joseph) and JoAnn (Joseph); her grandchildren, Joey (Jessica), Matthew and Sydney; as well as several nieces and nephews and predeceased by her twin sister, Phyllis and her sister Sandra.

     Ann was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Frank and Marie Osso on January 7, 1943.   Ann grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island.  After graduating high school, Ann worked for Narragansett Electric until she married and moved to New Jersey.  She then worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician at Genovese/Rite Aid in Fort Lee.  

    Ann was a faithful Catholic who, when her children were young, dedicated a lot of time volunteering at St. Nicholas Parochial School and Church in Palisades Park, working in the school office, planning church events and helping out at Bingo on Friday evenings.  

     For the past 20 years, Ann devoted a lot of her time volunteering at Holy Name Hospital where she was loved and will be missed by many.

     A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ.  Please gather Monday, October 16 at 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas R. C. Church, 442 Brinkerhoff Avenue, Palisades Park, NJ for a funeral mass.
