Obituary of John P. Krivy, Sr.

     John P. Krivy, Sr., 85, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2024.  He was born in Cliffside Park to the late John E. Krivy and Anna Krivy (nee Hatok). Before retiring in 1995 he was a proud Police Officer for Cliffside Park for 30 years attaining the rank of Deputy Chief. He is survived by his loving wife Catherine Krivy (nee McGee); his caring children John P. Krivy, Jr., (Belida), Suzanne Triggiano(Robert), and Theresa Composto (Jeffrey). Devoted grandfather of John L., Robert, Jr., Danielle, Brian, David, Matthew, Kaelea, Aimee, Michael, and Skylar.  Cherished great-grandfather of 9.  Dear brother of Mary Homa and the late George Krivy.  Brother-in-law of Bill Homa.

   A visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, NJ, on Thursday January 11, 2024, from 4-8 PM.  Family and friends will gather at Epiphany Church, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ for Mass at 12 PM on Friday January 12.  A burial will follow in Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ.  In lieu of flowers donation to: Cliffside Park P.B.A. Local #96, or Bergen Co. Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ 07608 (please put in remembrance of John Krivy), would be appreciated.

**Our parking garage is temporarily closed, but feel free to park on the street, First Baptist Church across the street from the funeral home in their lot, behind Food Bazar on Anderson Ave., or In Valley Bank (not along the back wall, that is reserved for the Greenhouse Condo patrons).
