Obituary of Mary Z. Badre

Mary Z. Badre, 87, formerly of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday January 19, 2024.  Mary was born in Homs, Syria to the late Abraham and Olga Zaitoon.  She was a former member of the Second Reformed Church in Hackensack and before her retirement she was an Administrative Assistant for New Jersey Community Development Corporation in Paterson (NJCDC).  Mary loved to dance, her friends and family, and the students attending NJCDC.  She was very kind and helpful and will be missed by all who knew her.  

 Mary was the loving wife of the late George Badre.  Devoted mother of Jeff Badre and Karen Campione (husband, Anthony).  Cherished grandmother of Talia Badre.  Mother-in-law of Karla. Dear sister of Michael Zaitoon and the late Ernest Zaitoon.  

     A visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, on Tuesday January 23, from 3-7 PM with a service at 6 PM.  Immediate family only will gather on Wednesday January 24 at 9:30 AM due to parking difficulties (see below).  All others are welcome to meet at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Avenue, Fairview, NJ, on Wednesday for committal service at 11 AM.
