Obituary of Carmen Carl Simeone

          Carmen Carl Simeone, 91, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2024.  He was born on Wednesday March 29, 1933, in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Pasquale Simeone and the late Louise (née Cardone).  Before working and retiring as a bus driver for NJ Transit he proudly served in the in The United States Air Force.  

     Carmen is the beloved husband of Sophia (nee Van Pelt) Simeone.   Cherished father of Gail Agosta (Thomas) and Ronald Simeone (Mary Jo).  Devoted grandfather of Gregory, Lauren (Justin), Nicole, Alex, Andrew, Sarah (Casey) and Thomas.  Caring great-grandfather of Everett and Callum.  Dear brother of the late Paul Simeone and Patricia Iafelice.  

   A visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug 18 from 2 to 6 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ.   Family and friends are to gather for Mass on Monday, Aug 19 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church 395 DeLano Place, Fairview, NJ.  Internment to follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.   In lieu of flowers donations in Carmen's name to:  Holy Name Hospice (link on the left of page) would be appreciated.
