Obituary of Shawn Patrick McCorry

     Shawn Patrick McCorry, 60, of Shohola, PA, died suddenly on September 5, 2024.  He was born in Teaneck NJ, and resided in Bergenfield NJ, before moving to Shohola.  He was a graduate of Bergenfield High School in 1982 and a former member of Local #164 I.B.E.W in Paramus, NJ.  He served in the US Army.  Shawn was a diehard Yankees, Devils, Giants and Nascar fan.  He enjoyed music, darts and working on his Jeep.  

    He is survived by his children Colin and Shane McCorry, his father Brian McCorry and sister Erin Gasiewicz (Michael).  Shawn is the nephew of Colleen Leone and Lisa Hall.  Uncle of Tyler Gallini (Melissa) and Casey Howe (David).  Great uncle of Miles & Damon Howe and Alexander Gallini.  He is predeceased by his mother Joyce McCorry; his grandmother Cecelia Barry and his cuz Marianne McCorry.  

   Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave. Cliffside Park NJ. Cremation will be private.

 In lieu of flowers, donations to either the ASPCA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Shawn's name would be greatly appreciated (links to the left).
