Obituary of Gerald F Benevento

     Gerald F Benevento ("Jerry" or "Nino"), 70, lifetime resident of Cliffside Park, living on the same block his whole life surrounded by his family, passed away on Wednesday October 9, 2024. Beloved father of Bret Benevento (Rosa) and Brigitte Benevento (fiancé Zachary). Loving grandfather to Michael and Luca. Survived by his sister Arlene Benevento. Jerry is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerry was a lifelong carpenter with the Local 15 out of Hackensack and loved football. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be forever missed. 

      Visitation will be held Sunday October 13, 2024, from 2-6 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ. Family and friends are to gather at Our Lady of Grace RC Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview NJ on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM for Funeral Mass. Cremation will be private.
