Giovanni Piccinich, 98, of Fairview, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born on November 1, 1926, in Srakane, Croatia, to the late Nicolo and the late Gavdenza (née Tarabochia) Piccinich. He was predeceased by his wife, Caterina, in 2019. Loving father to Nicholas Piccinich, Rosemary Medic (2015), John Piccinich (Dragicia), Martin Piccinich (Michele), and Robert Piccinich (Josephine). Grandfather to Kathleen, Rudy, and Johnny Medic; Giovanni, Ryan, Katherine, William, Lexi, and Jagger. Great-grandfather to Gianni Medic, Rosemarie, Isabella, and Leona. 

Giovanni was a longshoreman by trade, loved to sail (having sailed around the world), work in his garden, and could fix anything. He will be deeply missed by everyone and will forever be in their hearts. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 8:30-10:00 AM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, 395 DeLano Place, Fairview, NJ, with entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ.
