Obituary of Mary Teresa Connors
Mary Connors (née Corrigan) was born on June 10, 1945, in Manhattan, NY to James and Catherine Corrigan (McCarthy), the youngest of eleven children. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, of 55 years, her brothers James, Thomas, Daniel, Terrence and William, and her sisters Joan, Ann, Ellen, Patricia and Catherine. She is survived by her children Nancy Finnegan (Christopher Palazzo), John (Constance Kono), and Michael (Kellie Ann Arroyo). Mary is also survived by her grandchildren Erin Finnegan (William Ramirez), Jennifer Finnegan (Thomas Valvano), Melissa Connors (Michael Moon), Joseph Finnegan, Kevin Finnegan (Melissa Dressler), and Tanner Connors (Sarah Lorito) and her much loved great grandchildren Mikaela, Thomas, Liam, Victoria and James. She also leaves behind her in-laws Arthur Tietz, Michael McLean, Katherine Corrigan, James and Kathleen O’Connor and Peter and Gloria Connors. Mary is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved.
After getting married, she moved to Cliffside Park, NJ. She retired from GSL Bank and A&P after many years of service. In her final years, she loved spending time and volunteering at the Cliffside Park Senior Center, where she also resided. She was well known in town by many long-term residents and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Monday, January 13th from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ. Friends are to gather Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, 395 DeLano Place, Fairview, NJ at 10:30 AM for Mass with entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ.
