Obituary of Ralph A. Salemme

NAME OF DECEASED: Ralph A. Salemme AGE: 86 SALEMME - Ralph A., 86, of Fort Lee, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2015. He was the loving son of Philomena and Nicholas Salemme. Loving husband of Ann (nee Stanzione); his wife of 63 years. Beloved father of Nick Salemme and wife Bernadette, Mariann and husband, Richard Kraus; Carolyn and husband, Paul Mazza; and Lawrence Salemme. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Robert, John, and Nicholas Salemme; Alexis and Kimberly Kraus and Kyle Mazza. He was predeceased by his loving brother Albert (2015). He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ralph was a hairdresser by trade but was always ready to try his hand at new things. He loved meeting and talking with different people and became a friend to many. He was a successful real estate sales person; an accomplished artist (painting and drawing); a wonderful cook; and an avid gardener. He loved reading and was always eager to share his talents for those he cared for. Ralph served in the US Navy and was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church serving as an usher for many of those years. At Ralph's request there will be a closed casket visitation on Tuesday October 20, 2015 from 8:15-9:30AM. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ, at 10AM.
