Obituary of Eugene T. Pedoto

Pedoto - Eugene T., 84, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River, NJ. Eugene was a lifelong resident of Fairview and Cliffside Park and graduated from Cliffside Park High School. Son of the late Louis and Valentina Pedoto of Fairview. He retired in 1992 from I.B.E.W. Local 363, New City, NY. Eugene was in the Army during the Korean War and was in Germany from 1953-1954. As a member of the Cliffside Park Men's Club, he enjoyed playing poker with "the boys". As a young boy and after marriage he helped his father bake bread at "Pedoto's Bakery." Mention Pedoto's , even this many years later and everyone will say how they miss the "alligator bread". Married to his "flower" Claire (Accomando) for 62 years. They went to school together at Lincoln Elementary School in Fairview. Predeceased by sister Nancy Pedoto and brother-in-law Vincent Rentler. Survived by loving wife Claire, sons Eugene, his wife Marion of Bergenfield, and Gary L., his wife Mi-Hwa, and grand-daughter Hyun-Joo "Amy" of Fort Lee. Donations in memory of Eugene T.
