John Rinaldi was a very special man and we are heartbroken to hear that he passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, former colleagues and students, and all whose lives he touched over the years.
He was our younger daughter Lindsey's first teacher when we first came to St. John the Evangelist School--she was in the 4th grade. He fondly nicknamed her "The Lawyer." Not only did she have him as a teacher more than once during her combined five years at St. John's and Transfiguration Academy, but as a tennis instructor, safety patrol advisor, Christmas caroling and mentor. Our older daughter Alyssa will remember him fondly, too through tennis and other school activities.
He will be missed, but his legacy lives on through all the students who learned valuable life lessons from him.
