Sam was a wonderful man. He's been in my life since I was 4 yrs. old. His daughter Pam is my best friend. If you knew Sam, you loved Sam. He was happy, helpful and a joy to be around. He loved God and country. He was a doer, not a talker. He had limited usable land in the backyard but I was always astonished when I was there because he made his property into an herb, fruit and vegetable heaven.
He was so lucky to have unconditional love from his family, daughter Pam, especially. She literally has put her life on the hold to do everything to make sure he was always comfortable, properly cared for and typifies what a pure heart she has. She learned her ethics from her parents. I want to send my love to his daughters Lynn and Gail, Grandchildren Amanda, Robert and Cali as well as his beloved great-granddaughter, Rebecca. It comforts me to know he's with his beautiful wife, Louise now. She too, was one of the most beautiful people I've ever known. I consider my life blessed for having them as surrogate parents when I was growing up.
