My condolences to the Gallo family.
My fondest memory of Mrs. Gallo...... When I was a little boy attending Gardnertown elementary school in Newburgh, NY. with her son, my friend, Joe. Mrs. Gallo always made the BEST cupcakes for Joe's birthdays every year. (Kindergarten to 3rd or 4th grade). After 4th grade I guess we all grew up because I don't remember anymore birthday parties after.
But regardless of that; I always remember Mrs. Gallo having the biggest smile every time she came to the school to feed us kids, or chaperone a field trip, or just help the teacher out with anything. She was that kind of person who had a huge heart. She always put others before herself. As any loving mother would. She is a magnificent lady and a wonderful person to all who had the pleasure of knowing her! She will be greatly missed by all.

We were deeply sorry to learn about Martha's passing. Paul and I were pleased to visit her and Joe at Aunt Rose & Uncle Phil's during their last trip to Florida. Although we only saw her a few times, we looked forward to the yearly Christmas card she sent of her wonderful family. We have moved last year's picture to the front of our picture board to view each day and think of all the family.
I intend to pray the rosary for Martha during viewing hours service and at 10 a.m. during her Mass on Wednesday.
God bless Joe and family, as Martha watches over you during upcoming weddings and events.
We LOVE you all and wish we could be with you. May Martha rest peacefully in the arms of our Blessed Mother.

My husband and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Martha. I had met Martha at Gardnertown School in Newburgh, NY. Her son Joseph and my son David were friends. Martha was a lovely person. I have thought about her often and wondered where she was living. I Would love to have been able to connect again, so it was with great sadness in hearing of her passing.
