Obituary of Irene Willemena Caserta

PAID DEATH NOTICE Irene W. Caserta (nee Pfeuffer), passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. Born in Cliffside Park to Alvina and Bernhart Pfeuffer in 1917, where she was a lifelong resident, and the only surviving member of one of the oldest families in the community. Beloved wife of the late Peter (2004). She is the mother of her first born child Peter William (deceased) and the deeply loved mother of Maria Lionetti of Cliffside Park; her daughter Barbara Cecere-Peters of West orange, her late husband Robert; her son Peter Caserta, his wife Diane, of Newfoundland, PA. Cherished grandmother to Robert Lionetti, his wife Deborah, of Canton GA; Denise Lynne Lionetti of Englewood, NJ; Jennifer Lionetti Viehmeyer, wife of the late Gerard Viehmeyer, of Canton, GA; Samuel Caserta of Bethlehem, PA, and Laura Caserta of Newfoundland, PA. Irene is great-grandmother to Christopher, Jonathan, Zachary and Nicholas Lionetti and Jordan & Jenna Viehmeyer. Irene survived her dear sisters Minnie Pfueffer, Marie Fallotico, Helen DeLauro, and her brothers Alfred, Ben & William Pfueffer. Irene was devoted and loving to all. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday July 26, at 9:15AM. Graveside Service to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ, at 10AM.
